So yeah, the biggest thing happening in the Lucasfilm universe right now is that Disney is finally dragging Star Wars back into theaters instead of keeping everything trapped on Disney+ like your uncle trapped in Facebook conspiracy groups.

The main hype train is rolling hard for The Mandalorian & Grogu, which drops May 22, 2026. Basically, Disney looked at Baby Yoda printing infinite money and said, “Yeah, let’s make that a movie.” Pedro Pascal is back, Sigourney Weaver joined the cast, and they’ve already been showing exclusive footage at fan events in Europe to whip fans into a frenzy.
